Explore the rural side of India with Mumbai Travellers and spend a weekend in company of beautiful peacocks at Morachi Chincholi – “The village of Peacocks”. A visit to the place which shelters thousands of peacock and is paradise of those who loves to explore offbeat places. A peacock in all its glory at Morachi Chincholi – a village about 04 hours drive from Mumbai. The village and its vicinity boasts of a high peacock population which has led to a travellers like us to behold the beauty in our eyes. Interesting to see those majestic birds roaming free in the fields and perched on the abundant tamarind trees in the region. They can even be seen by the roadside if lucky. Villagers claim that even their ancestors co-habitated with these birds and the tradition has survived and flourished. It is believed this village is now a home to over 2,500 magnificent winged beauties.

Day 1 : Saturday
Early morning, meet our leader at Dadar by 07:00 am and proceed from Dadar towards the beautiful journey to Morachi Chincholi. Have en-route breakfast and reach our farm site by lunch time. Check in and freshen up. Have simple Maharashtrain lunch. Explore the farm site and enjoy the rural activities. Have refreshment by evening, enjoy the walk through the village for peacock excursion. Back to farm site by evening. Rest till dinner. Have delicious-fingerlickin dinner. Overnight stay at Farm.

Day 2 : Sunday
Early morning a small nature trail around the village for birding as well as peacock sighting. After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Nighoj village (known for famous potholes in Kukadi River). Explore the Nighoj potholes and return journey to Mumbai. En-route have lunch and evening drop to Mumbai.
